Heavenly Father,
We come before You with humble and grateful hearts. You have saved us by Your sovereign grace alone, not because of our works, but because of Your great mercy in Christ Jesus. Yet we confess how easily our hearts drift from You. We become distracted by lesser things, satisfied with shallow faith, and slow to grow in the knowledge of Your Son.
Lord, grant us a deep spiritual reformation. Ignite in us a greater hunger to know You more intimately. Reform our prayers so they are not self-centered, but centered on Your glory and the advancement of Your kingdom. Teach us to pray as Paul prayed — with boldness, with love for Your people, and with unwavering confidence in Your faithfulness.
Fill us with the knowledge of Your will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Help us to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord Jesus, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.
Strengthen us with all power according to Your glorious might, so that we may endure with patience and joy, even in trials. Father, deepen our love — a love that abounds more and more, a love that is discerning and sincere, so that we may approve what is excellent and be pure and blameless for the day of Christ. Root us and ground us in the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that we may be filled with all the fullness of God.
We ask that You would conform us more fully to the image of Your Son. Kill in us the old self with its pride, self-reliance, and love of comfort. Raise us up to newness of life — a life marked by genuine holiness, joyful obedience, and wholehearted devotion to Jesus.
Lord, do this work in us by the power of Your Holy Spirit. We do not seek merely to improve ourselves, but to be transformed from one degree of glory to another as we behold the glory of Christ. Make our lives a living testimony that You are at work in us, both to will and to work for Your good pleasure.
